Nadelyn received a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a focus in Sociology from Sam Houston State University and hopes to return to school for a Dual Master's in Public Health and Social Work. She worked in Galveston County for 3 years, accompanying and advocating for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and child/elderly abuse as an Intern, Shelter Advocate, Hotline Specialist, Case Manager, and Crisis Intervention Specialist. She has moved to Rice University as a Resource Navigator with the goal of continuing to teach others about her passion for interpersonal violence awareness and supporting those affected by violence to assist Rice in becoming a violence-free campus! She enjoys reading and watching true crime documentaries, trying new things, and relaxing with her cat, Kevin Purlone, and fiance, Chris.
